Located in a natural hollow at the base of the Wasatch canyon foothills, the Log Cabin on the Hill is minutes away from every major Utah Ski Resort and area attraction. The exterior remains a quaint and historical log cabin hand built by the Alta Ski Resort founder and legendary ski instructor, Alf Engen. Alf Engen was assisted in the construction project by his brother's and friend's following World War II. Our mountain landscape provide a natural setting for our rustic atmosphere. Enter our door and enjoy the warm welcome with the comforts of today.

Your room is decorated and serviced with  your relaxation in mind. Down comforters, terry robes, fresh flowers, and private baths are all waiting for you. Our comfortable living room is complimented by a beautiful stone fireplace, inserted into the rustic log interior. As you venture to our backyard patio, you will find a beautiful hot tub with no obstructions between you and the night time stars. We look forward to having you come visit!
